A skydiver had a brush with death when a reserve parachute accidentally deployed and became entangled with the tail of a plane, forcing the pilot to use heavy control inputs to keep the damaged aircraft in level flight. The pilot thankfully maintained control and landed safely after the parachutist freed themself and descended with their main parachute.
