105 years ago today, an explosion rocked the city of Halifax, Nova Scotia. On the morning of 6 December 1917, two merchant ships collided in Halifax’s harbour: the French ship Mont Blanc, packed with munitions and bound for Europe, and the Norwegian vessel Imo.
