Ever wonder what it means when someone is called a “high responder” during IVF? Ok so this was a personal record for me. This was a case from several years ago in my very young patient with PCOS (MFC means “marked for cryo”). Despite appropriately low doses of medication, she had 70 eggs retrieved with over 40 mature! We used a lupron only trigger and cabergoline post retrieval to prevent hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS). Thankfully- her recovery was surprisingly smooth. Being a high responder m
