I used AmpliTube to create this tone, which took plenty of finessing! Ed's tone on this one is so tight & punchy, whilst remaining rich & colourful. Many of the greatest players had a knack for developing their sound around their playing, and vice versa. The two really do go hand in hand, and I believe that focusing on one while ignoring the other usually dilutes a player's potency.
