CITV Local News Monday 28 July 2025 The Taste of the Islands Au Kai Enua Event set up by Tauranga Vananga for 11am today under the Dome was cancelled due to the low interest of the Pa Enua to take part as some of them have already planned to sell their food at tomorrow's Trade Day event. The Atiu Tere was one of the islands ready to showcase their island food, however due to the cancellation they started selling their raurau kai from their hostel at 12pm today. The public response was tremendous

Seating areas have also been set up for eating. And Tupapa field and Takamoa are offering carparking spaces for a fee.
