Urban Meyer, Michigan and Ohio State

Former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said the NFL should punish Jim Harbaugh, the former Michigan coach and current Los Angeles Chargers coach, after Harbaugh received a 10-year show-cause order from the NCAA for the Wolverines’ sign-stealing scandal.
Of course, Meyer was referring to Ohio State’s 2012 season, in which the Buckeyes went undefeated in the regular season but could not compete in the Big Ten Championship Game or BCS National Championship Game because of an NCAA-sanctioned postseason ban.
“I don’t know why,” Meyer said. To his credit, Meyer called Harbaugh a “great coach” and said he’ll have no problems winning in the NFL. The Chargers went 11-6 in Harbaugh’s first season but lost to the Houston Texans in the AFC Wild Card Round.

On Aug. 15, the NCAA punished Michigan for violations connected to the Connor Stalions sign-stealing scandal. Harbaugh, the former Wolverines HC, received a 10-year show-cause order.
The outcome included a 10-year “show cause” order against former Michigan coach, and current Chargers coach, Jim Harbaugh. Former Ohio State coach, and former Jaguars coach, Urban Meyer, believes that there should be an NFL suspension for Harbaugh.
