Five days after deadly floods struck central Texas, search and rescue teams are continuing to probe debris for those still missing.

Search teams plodded through mud-laden riverbanks and flew aircraft over the flood-stricken landscape of central Texas for a fourth day on Monday, looking for dozens of people still missing from a disaster that has claimed at least 78 lives.

Scientists say a hotter planet is driving more intense storms. But experts say the U.S. is also not doing enough to adapt to increasingly intense floods.
