All seven episodes of Creature Commandos are now streaming on Max, while a second season is in the works. Peacemaker Season 1 and The Suicide Squad are also currently available to stream on Max.

Creature Commandos, all the shows and movies that come out afterward, like 2025's Superman, and some parts of Suicide Squad and most (but not all of) Peacemaker. That’s it, right? Well, no.

These flippant comparisons were more accurate than intended, since Creature Commandos was a retread of The Suicide Squad (also written and directed by Gunn), and Task Force X's entire purpose.

After all, Gunn wrote Creature Commandos after The Suicide Squad, and the show was produced after he was tapped as co-CEO of DC Studios. But that would be speculation.
