A low-cost leisure carrier comparable to Allegiant, Frontier, Southwest and Spirit airlines is coming to Lincoln with flights starting later this year.

The Lincoln Airport succeeded in bringing a Breeze Airways route to Lincoln after a process involving continued discussions and work behind the scenes.

Breeze also announced new high-priority boarding. Travelers can either buy the option or get as an included perk.

They're the latest additions for fast-growing startup carrier Breeze Airways, which announced its latest expansion Tuesday.
