Thursday 5th March 2026: A slightly smaller show of 200 beef cattle in Ballymena on Thursday resulted in another steady trade.
There was keen demand at Sunday’s Connemara/Mayo Blackface Breeding Group Sale in Maam Cross with yearling ewe hoggets also selling briskly and averaging at over €150 per head.
