Toyota Motor 7203.T sold 10.8 million vehicles in 2024, it said on Thursday, remaining the world's top-selling automaker for a fifth straight year.

The automaker sold 10.8 million vehicles globally last year, retaining its position as the world’s top-selling carmaker despite weakness in Japan and China.

Toyota Motor Corp. sold 10.8 million cars in 2024, a slight drop from the previous year but more than enough to protect its title against Volkswagen AG as the world’s biggest carmaker for a fifth consecutive year.
