The CEO of Toronto Pearson Airport applauded the heroism of Delta Air Lines Flight 4819's crew members after Monday's crash, when the aircraft flipped over and started on fire while landing.

A Delta Air Lines commuter plane arriving from Minneapolis has crashed at Canada’s Toronto Pearson Airport, according to the the Federal Aviation Administration, with images of the incident showing the aircraft flipped upside down.

Toronto Pearson International Airport reported Monday afternoon that a Delta flight arriving from Minnesota was involved in an “incident” while making its landing. The plane ended up on the runway where it appeared to be upside down.
