The Edmonton Oilers host the Dallas Stars in game three of the third round of the NHL Playoffs with the series tied 1-1

The Edmonton Oilers are in a fight against the dangerous Dallas Stars in the Western Conference Final of the 2025 NHL Stanley Cup playoffs. If they are to come through with a series victory versus the Stars, they would need Connor McDavid to be at the top of his game.

Center Connor McDavid won nine of his 16 faceoffs and tallied one assist, one takeaway and a key shot block in the third period that helped seal the game. Defenseman Evan Bouchard chipped in with two assists and three blocked shots as the Oilers suffocated the Stars down the stretch.

The Oilers beat the Dallas Stars 3-0 in Game 2 of the Western Conference final to tie the series at 1-1. While Edmonton blew a 3-1 lead in the third period of Game 1's 6-3 loss, the away team held on while being outshot 9-2 in the final frame of Game 2.
