Michael Lynn Davis, co-defendant of former Alabama basketball player Darius Miles, on Friday was found guilty of capital murder by a Tuscaloosa County jury in the January 2023 death of Jamea Harris.

A jury in Tuscaloosa today found Michael Davis guilty of capital murder for shooting and killing Jamea Harris near the Strip more than two years ago. The jury deliberated for about an hour before announcing the verdict in a courtroom in downtown Tuscaloosa on Friday afternoon.

Michael Lynn Davis was found guilty of capital murder in January 2023 shooting death of Jamea Harris by a Tuscaloosa jury. The case is adjacent to the future trial of former Alabama basketball player Darius Miles,
