Entergy's Louisiana unit received the state's regulatory approval to move forward with infrastructure investments tied to Meta's new global data center in Richland Parish, the utility firm said on Wednesday.

The Louisiana Public Service Commission (PSC) will outline its after-action findings in Baton Rouge following the outage, which was prompted when MISO, the regional grid operator, that ordered Entergy to cut power to prevent the system from overloading during extreme heat.
