It was a winning week both ways for me with my NFL picks last week. As the NFL season winds down, I am starting to get hotter than Cleveland Browns fans when you say their quarterback of the future isn't on their current roster.

That recent stretch of success, as well as the fact that they are playing the Jets on Sunday, should make the Dolphins an attractive pick this week. Especially if you're looking ahead and potentially trying to save teams like Philadelphia (vs. Las Vegas) and Buffalo (vs. Cleveland) in future weeks.

Despite criticism that the 12-team Playoff could diminish the importance of conference championship games, the stakes have never been higher and this weekend’s matchups prove it.
