Space Marine 3 is officially in development. Publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Saber Interactive have joined forces once again following the huge success of last year's Space Marine 2, which has sold 5 million copies.

Released in September of 2024, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 was one of the surprise hits of the year. Not only was it a commercial success, but critics also liked it. Over on Open Critic, Space Marine 2 is sitting at a "Strong" rating with a Top Critic Average of 81.

Following the supreme success of Space Marine 2, a third game is in the works.

With the success of Space Marine 2, Focus Entertainment is already working on a sequel. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 launched last year to critical acclaim and solid sales numbers. While Saber Interactive has supported the game with post-launch content,
