Cleveland is too far ahead to catch and the Knicks are too far behind to catch them for second. That means that the final few games are about playing their best basketball and keeping everyone healthy.

NBA award time is approaching and, of particular interest to Celtics fans, is the Sixth Man of the Year, for which sharpshooter Payton Pritchard appears to be a favorite. It would be the Celtics’ second recent Sixth Man honor, as Malcolm Brogdon was the winner in 2023.

Derrick White became the Celtics’ single-season 3-point king Monday night. Whether he’ll still hold that crown at season’s end remains to be seen.
