IMPD announced Monday that detectives arrested 18-year-old Cortez Starks for his alleged role in the incident. Starks faces a preliminary charge for unlawful possession of a handgun.

July 5, 3 p.m.: IMPD was dispatched to the 1300 block of Fall Creek Parkway East Drive on the report of a person shot. Officers found Dontae Anthony Lewis, 29, dead from a gunshot wound.
