Unlike many other NCAA conferences, the Ivy League did not introduce its men’s and women’s basketball tournaments until 2017.

The last time the two teams faced off was in Ithaca on Feb. 27, where Cornell’s senior Jake Fiegen drained the game-winning three-pointer with a second remaining as the Big Red won 72-69.

Cornell now sits two wins away from its sixth NCAA Tournament appearance in program history — and its first since the Red’s memorable Sweet 16 run in 2010.
