Intelligence Committee Democrats are demanding Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard appear before both chambers’ respective panels after she was present during the execution of an FBI search warrant at an election center in Atlanta.

Sen. Mark Warner and Rep. Jim Himes, the top Democrats on committees overseeing national intelligence, are calling on Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard to brief them on why she was present at an FBI search of an election office in Georgia this week that has been central to conspiracy theories over President Donald Trump’s 2020 election loss.

Gabbard’s criticism is rooted in what she sees as a broader problem: she believes the Democratic Party has become “hostile towards God” and those of faith. She said the incident at the church, where anti-ICE demonstrators entered during worship and chanted inside the sanctuary, is another example of that hostility.
