PHOENIX -- Newest Phoenix Suns center Nick Richards won't be suiting up tonight against the Washington Wizards. After being acquired Wednesday from the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for Josh Okogie and three second-round picks, Richards is listed on the injury report as out (not with team).

The Washington Wizards are getting ready to face off against the Phoenix Suns tonight, but before the game, a slight change was made to the road team's roster. According to ESPN insider Shams Charania,

The Phoenix Suns will be shorthanded on Thursday against the Washington Wizards, as they ruled out guard Bradley Beal with a left ankle sprain.

The Phoenix Suns (19-20) play the second of their five-game road trip at the Washington Wizards (6-32) on Thursday.

One became the franchise’s second all-time leading scorer in his 11 seasons there before clearing the way for a blockbuster trade to the Phoenix Suns that involved Chris Paul. The other only had a career year in his one season with the franchise yet joined the Suns as a free agent last summer.

Phoenix Suns head coach Mike Budenholzer recently gave an update on when the team's new acquisition will make his debut.
