The Tigers’ first game of 2026 will be at Petco Park against the San Diego Padres on March 26. After three games in San Diego and three in Arizona against the Diamondbacks, the Tigers return home to play their first game at Comerica Park against the St. Louis Cardinals on April 3.

The Athletics won the first two games of the series over the Tigers and go for the sweep on Wednesday. Detroit is 0-3 in the past three games, while the A’s are starting to streak with three wins over the previous four contests. The A’s are 3-2 versus the Tigers this season.
