IT'S BEEN A little over two years since we last took a visit to a White Lotus resort. And while that's just about par for the course in the modern television landscape, you only really begin to realize just how much you've been missing writer/director Mike White's razor sharp world and characters once you're back in.

Season 1 brought viewers to the White Lotus luxury resort in Hawaii, followed by Season 2 in Italy. Season 3 explores the tropical Thailand island of Ko Samui, starting Feb. 16 (HBO 9 EST/PST, and streaming on Max).

"The White Lotus" will air live on HBO and drop on Max simultaneously for streaming. While the first season had six episodes and the second had seven episodes, Season 3 promises eight episodes in total. This leaves seven episodes to figure out who has been murdered and who did it, including Episode 2.
