The New Orleans Saints need to find a franchise quarterback, and they could look to pursue a trade for Indianapolis Colts signal caller Anthony Richardson.

New Orleans head coach Kellen Moore said the competition between Spencer Rattler and Tyler Shough was “really, really close” and that he wasn’t ready to make a final decision on the QB1 spot when speaking with reporters on Tuesday, though he did give a bit of a timeline.

Spencer Rattler now has some late-game highlights on his preseason resume as he competes with rookie Tyler Shough to become the New Orleans Saints' starting quarterback.
