Netflix said AI was used to produce visual effects that appeared for the first time on screen in one of its original series, employing a technology that has been a source of anxiety throughout Hollywood.
Netflix's "Adolescence" topped the TV side and action comedy "Back in Action" was the most-viewed movie on the service in the first half of 2025.

The streaming giant's revenue rose 15.9% year over year to $11.08 billion, and earnings hit $7.19 per share.
Netflix's distribution deal with TF1 will be an "an opportunity to learn" and use new livestreaming and ad tech, Co-CEO Greg Peters said Thursday.
