Jayson Tatum missed his first career playoff game on Wednesday night in the Celtics’ 109-100 Game 2 win against the Magic. His return to the floor remains an open question after he suffered a bone bruise in his right wrist after a hard fall in Game 1.

Ahead of Game 3 in Orlando, Joe Mazzulla offered an update on Jayson Tatum’s bone bruise, which the Celtics coach called “severe.”

The Celtics head coach said that Tatum’s right wrist bone bruise is “severe” but didn’t rule out him playing in Game 3 against the Magic on Friday.
