After a winter of constant trade rumors involving him, there’s no hotter hitter in Red Sox camp than outfielder Jarren Duran, who added two homers Saturday and is now hitting .583.

Thirteen players from Boston’s Spring Training roster are vacating camp temporarily to join their World Baseball Classic squads, including the entire quartet (Roman Anthony, Jarren Duran, Ceddanne Rafaela and Wilyer Abreu) from the loaded outfield.

Duran drove in four runs out of the No. 3 spot in the lineup Saturday and now has three homers over his last two games. His first blast traveled 401 feet into the bullpen with an exit velocity of 102.

Manager Alex Cora said last week that he has “an idea” about how he will use Jarren Duran, but talking about it in public “doesn’t make any sense.”
