Boston College football enters its final week of training camp this week before getting ready for its season opener. After an off day on Monday, the team will return to practice outside Fish Field House on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, then will have another off day on Friday.

After going 7-6 in his first season in charge of Boston College football, Bill O’Brien is expected to have another solid season in year two. In their preseason bowl predictions for 2025, ESPN’s Kyle Bonagura and Mark Schlabach both believe the Eagles will make it back to another bowl game.

ESPN experts predict Auburn will play Boston College in either the Gasparilla Bowl or the Birmingham Bowl. Both Auburn and Boston College are projected to barely reach bowl eligibility. Auburn has lost its last four bowl games, with the most recent loss coming against Maryland in the 2023 Music City Bowl.

Since taking over as the Boston Celtics head coach, Joe Mazzulla has overseen contending-level teams. However, that's about to change, as Mazzulla and his coaching staff prepare to lead a retooling roster with multiple developmental talents within the rotation.
