Instead, it was Risner’s wife, Whitney, who announced on social media on Monday morning that he is re-signing with the Bengals.
According to ESPN's Aaron Schatz, the Bengals are projected to replace Hendrickson with a 30.5 sack former Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Chargers pass rusher on a free agent deal this offseason. "With Trey Hendrickson probably on his way out of Cincinnati, the Bengals need an edge rusher," Schatz writes.
A lot of the attention this offseason around the Bengals will be how aggressive they are in acquiring defensive talent. A lot of eyes continue to stay on the situation regarding Joe Burrow. Some are even declaring that the 2026 season will be Burrow’s last in Cinci.
