They got away with a 2-1 win thanks to a dominant pitching performance from Tarik Skubal. Detroit did not get that type of outing from any of its pitching on Saturday night.

The Tigers pitching staff is 10th in the majors with a collective 8.7 strikeouts per nine innings. The Rangers have the seventh-best ERA (3.47) in the majors this season.
