Milić lives in Scottsdale and regularly does the three-hour drive down to the southern edge of Arizona, where his winery is.

Sonoita Vineyards’ tasting room is large and spacious, capable of holding 40 to 50 people. Visitors can sip on wine while watching winemaking in action, with views into the production room.

Billed as “an old-fashioned Prohibition-era style booze riot,” the Sonoita winery will have live music, an old car show and celebrate the release of its newest wine, Moxy.

"This is our 32nd annual blessing of the vineyards," said Fran Lightly, winemaker at the Sonoita Vineyards.
