Kevin Durant scored 42 points, including a clutch 3-pointer that helped snuff out a late Cleveland rally, as the host Phoenix Suns scored their third straight win with a 123-112 defeat of the Cavaliers on Friday.

The Suns posted perhaps their most impressive win of the season in knocking off the East leader, 123-112, Friday night before a sellout crowd of 17,071 at PHX Arena. Phoenix has won three consecutive games for the first time since late January while Cleveland (56-14) have lost four games in a row.
