Over 4,000 people in New Jersey were without power as of 8:30 a.m. in the midst of the extreme heat wave June 24.

Thousands of people remained without power June 24, a day after more than 30K NJ residents were left without electricity amid a suffocating heat wave.

By 9 pm, PSE&G had reported over 13,000 power outages in New Jersey. As of 7:45 a.m. Wednesday the company reported 511 active outages in the state, impacting 9,310 customers.
