March 31 (Reuters) - Meta Platforms launched two new Ray-Ban prescription smart glasses on Tuesday, expanding its offerings in an area that has become one of the few breakthrough successes in the race for artificial intelligence-powered gadgets.
One thing that Nothing might bring to the smart glasses table that sets them apart, though, is its signature design. Starting Monday, wearing smart glasses with audio or video recording is verboten in Philadelphia’s courts. That includes prescription smart glasses. Violators could be arrested and face contempt charges.
