Homeowners and other property owners in Durham start receiving new property values this week, and the county tax administrator wants to prepare them for dramatic increases.

The Durham County tax administrator said the county has experienced significant population growth since the last appraisal in 2019.

‘La pulga,’ a flea market near downtown Durham on 1600 E. Pettigrew St, may soon relocate to a larger site as the land is up for sale. Green Flea Market is place for Latino businesses.
