The Cincinnati Bengals have yet to reach a deal with Trey Hendrickson after signing both Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to huge contracts. It’s unclear how the situation will pan out, as the front office did give the 30-year-old edge rusher permission to seek a trade.

Trey Hendrickson took exception to Bengals executive Katie Blackburn's public remarks about contract negotiations. The pass rusher said Blackburn's comments were "disappointing."

The Bengals have signed wide receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to contract extensions this offseason, but they have not signed defensive end Trey Hendrickson to a new deal and comments from executive vice president Katie Blackburn this week didn't do much to suggest that an agreement is imminent.
