Hamilton County Auditor Jessica Miranda said in a news release Tuesday her office will be reviewing 26,000 property tax-exempt parcels. Owners will be getting a letter in the coming weeks.

Some Cincinnati homeowners may soon get their delinquent property taxes covered by the city and county.

Hamilton County officials are concerned about a property tax bill they say could reduce the county's revenue by $64 million.

Inside millage, up to 10 mills of property tax, is levied without the vote of residents. " (The funding) goes towards, mostly, public safety," Hamilton County Auditor Jessica Miranda said.
