Jon Rahm completed his LIV Golf roster for the 2025 season on Wednesday, bringing in youngster Tom McKibbin, a player four-time major champion Rory McIlroy knows well

Twenty-two-year-old Tom McKibbin, who is currently 21st in the European Ryder Cup rankings, will join Rahm’s Legion XIII and play alongside him, Tyrrell Hatton, and Caleb Surratt. McKibbin hails from Northern Ireland and grew up playing at Holywood Golf Club, the same course Rory McIlroy played as a youth.

The four-time major champion has a lot of thoughts on the state of pro golf but said “we shouldn’t try to dumb down golf to appeal to more people.”
