There are a number of different types of drill bits. Steel Tooth Rotary Bits are the most common types of drill bits, while Insert Bits are steel tooth bit with tungsten carbide inserts.

Our favorite model was the Drill Doctor 750X because it was easy to use on different drill bit types and sizes, worked fast, and sharpened many of our bits to better-than-new condition.
