Defendant Ricardo Senatus was sentenced to 19 years to life for fatally shooting a 20-year-old deli employee in 2021.

Their suspect had walked into the Daona Gourmet Deli at E. 81st Street and Third Avenue late on Friday and fatally shot a 67-year-old clerk during a botched armed robbery.
