Owners of recalled cars should bring them to their closest Ford dealer who will inspect and replace the 12-volt battery for free if necessary. Notifications are expected to be sent via mail by Feb. 3.

The problems appeared after an update that began rolling out on 12 May. One user complained that they saw massive battery usage from Google app and to a lesser degree Android System Intelligence.
