Winter weather advisories have been issued for three New Jersey counties where freezing rain could cause icy conditions Thursday night into Friday. The advisory will be in effect from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Friday in Morris, Sussex and Warren counties, the National Weather Service said.

On Thursday at 1:34 a.m. the NWS Medford OR issued an updated winter weather advisory valid from Friday 1 a.m. until Saturday 10 a.m.

A winter storm expected to hit southern Colorado on Wednesday could drop more than a foot of snow in the mountains and up to six inches in the southern metro area.
