In addition to Streep, original "The Devil Wears Prada" stars Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci are returning for the sequel, 20th Century Studios confirmed to ABC News in June. Oscar winner Kenneth Branagh will also star in the film as Miranda's new husband, according to 20th Century Studios.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is no longer moving at a glacial pace. The project is currently in production in New York City, and Disney has confirmed a 2026 release date! The movie will premiere about 20 years after the first film hit theaters and went on to become a timeless classic with references that nobody in Hollywood tires of (Gird your loins!)
