Toyota’s Sebastien Ogier clinched a record-extending 10th Monte Carlo victory after holding his nerve in a dramatic climax to the World Rally Championship season opener. Ogier and co-driver Vincent Landais kept in control in a final stage showndown to take a memorable win by 18.

M-Sport Ford's Josh McErlean finished an impressive seventh on his WRC debut as Toyota's Sebastien Ogier made a perfect start to the season with a record-extending 10th Monte Carlo Rally victory on Sunday.

The Frenchman said after the race he was unsure whether he would return in 2026 to try and notch up an 11th win in the foothills of the Alps.
