The family of a construction worker killed by a backing-up dump truck while at work in 2022 will receive a $8.5 million settlement. Peter Davis, 61, of Stillwater, had worked for the St. Paul Regional Water Services Department for over 40 years. He had retired from the department just before the fatal incident happened.

Peter Michael Davis, 61, was killed at a construction site near the intersection of East 7th Street and Wabasha Street North in September of 2022.
