Harris, a former Lion and Saint, entered 2025 as a starter after signing a two-year, $8MM deal with the Commanders in free agency. He made 11 tackles in parts of three games before fracturing his fibula in a Week 3 win over the Raiders. The Commanders have since dealt with a slew of other injuries during a 3-8 start.

At 10-2, Payton has done one heck of a job this season. The Broncos have won eight straight games. It should put Payton in the Coach of the Year sweepstakes, an award that he won in 2006 in his first year with the New Orleans Saints.

Washington (3-8) hosts Denver (9-2) on Sunday night. The Commanders have lost six in a row; the Broncos have won seven straight. While others might focus on draft standing, the Commanders still want a strong finish to help make decisions for 2026.
