The Houston Texans got to work addressing a key area of need on Tuesday, signing Braden Smith away from the rival Indianapolis Colts.
Smith, 30, has played eight seasons in the NFL, all with the Indianapolis Colts, with most of his snaps coming at right tackle. According to PFF's Mason Coleman, Smith ranks among the top-25 pass blockers at all tackles and was sixth in sack percentage last season. Over the past three seasons, Smith's run-block rate is in the 82nd percentile.
