Loved reading about the local history! Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Had a great first visit. We took a walk around back too and that was nice. Full review by Alyssabissonnette

I didn't see the film, so I can't answer that part of the question. Otherwise (having had 2 kids), I agree with the other comments. The museum really is quite small. I suspect the 11 year old might be interested in the Anne Frank timeline, but the 8 year old will get antsy if you don't move quickly enough. The Perth Regiment exhibit is small but should be interesting, with uniforms and a mock-up of field office (as I recall). I also liked the exhibit of Pericles costumes, although we didn't see the play. Again, quite small. The kids might wonder whether people really wore the strange garments.
