Hey. Not sure about dogs being allowed but I guess not. The visit to Valle de la Luna involves walking on wood and dirt trails that are narrow and often times a litlle dangerous for the tiny ones (children, dogs). It is easy to slip from under the handrails. However, the visit takes a little over an hour if you reeeeeaaaaally take you time, so I guess you could have your dog tied to a pole at the entrance of the attraction while you visit it. Good luck..

There is really no need for a guide. There are two clearly marked trails of 15 and 45 minutes and the entire walk is in a fenced area so is totally safe. A taki from La Paz should cost you 40 Bs. You will have to catch a taxi on the road to get back or you can ask your taxi to wait for an hour but there are also buses.
